Yize Zhou

About Me

I am currently a research intern at Peking University Chengdu Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Biotechnology, focusing on generative-AI driven peptide and biomolecular design. Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at Wave Intelligence Lab, CUHK, supervised by Prof. Shengchao Liu. My research lies at the intersection of AI for Science and computational biology, with a focus on geometric deep learning, generative models, and LLM reasoning for biomolecular modeling. My long-term academic goal is to pursue a PhD degree and conduct independent scientific research in this field.

• AI for Science, especially AI-driven biological modeling (e.g., chromosome structure, pathway planning, protein & RNA modeling)
• Generative models in scientific discovery (e.g., geometric deep learning, diffusion models)
• Large Language Model (LLM) Reasoning, with a focus on latent-space reasoning mechanisms
